Community Based Solutions in Access to Justice
October 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Everyday legal problems are everywhere. An estimated two-thirds of the world’s population lack meaningful access to justice. Emerging from the global access to justice crisis is a growing opportunity to collaboratively explore new initiatives and innovative ways of thinking. Community-based justice initiatives are typically embedded in a community, involve staff and volunteers from a community, provide holistic services for a community — which have often been developed by a community. Join our panel as we discuss how Colorado is meeting the need for community based solutions to the justice gap.
Panelists:
Toni-Anne Nunez, Director of Pro Bono Services, Colorado Bar Association/Denver Bar Association
Elisa Overall (Emo), Director, Colorado Access to Justice Commission
Diana Poole, Director, Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado
